STANDARDS ALIGNMENT

Common Core State Standards

HSG.C.A.2 — relationships involving inscribed angles, radii, chords, central/inscribed/circumscribed angles, right angles formed by a diameter, and the radius-tangent relationship.

HSG.C.A.3 — inscribed-quadrilateral component — properties of angles for a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle, including supplementary opposite angles.

The final resource deliberately identifies HSG.C.A.3 as the quadrilateral component, rather than claiming that it teaches the triangle incircle/circumcircle construction component.

That distinction is important: the full HSG.C.A.3 standard also requires constructing the inscribed and circumscribed circles of a triangle.
