1. Who we are

UM Printables (https://umprintables.com) is an independent online store selling digital educational resources (PDF printables) to teachers, homeschoolers, and parents worldwide. We are registered in India with GSTIN. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

2. What we collect

Email address — required to create an account, send order confirmations, deliver free downloads, and contact you about your orders.
Name (optional) — used to personalize your order emails.
Country — auto-detected from your IP address via Cloudflare, used to determine if GST (18%) applies.
Order history — product purchased, amount paid, payment method (we never see your card details — Razorpay handles all payment data).
Browsing data — we use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not use cookies or track you across sites.

To create and manage your account
To process payments and deliver your purchased PDFs
To send you order confirmations and download links
To provide customer support if you contact us
To detect and prevent fraud
To comply with Indian tax regulations (GST invoicing)

We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing. We do not send promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in.

4. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Razorpay (a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India). We never see, store, or have access to your credit card, debit card, or UPI details. Razorpay returns a payment ID and cryptographic signature to us, which we verify to confirm your payment.

5. Data storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database and R2 object storage), with servers located globally for fast access. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. PDF files you purchase are stored in a private R2 bucket — only accessible via cryptographically-secure download tokens that expire in 24 hours.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you (request via email)
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of any marketing communications (we don't send any by default)
Download a copy of your order history

7. Cookies

We use only one cookie: um_session, which is an HttpOnly, Secure cookie that identifies your logged-in session. It expires after 30 days. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Children's privacy

Our products are designed for teachers and parents to use with children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify all registered users by email of any material changes at least 7 days before they take effect.
